Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last"

-Martin Luther King, Jr.

PIKE Wins Two IFC Executive Board Positions Print E-mail

Theta Tau Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity clinched two imporatnt positions in the Executive Board of the Inter Fraternity Council.
Cory Kleinfeldt, a neophyte in the IFC boardroom won the position previously held by current PIKE president Jorge Sales-Halbergsen. Brother Kleinfeldt won the position of Vice-President of Public Relations without oposition. He vows to continue the development of "The Oracle" Greek Life Bi-Semester Newsletter.
The other position PIKE won is the position of Vice-President of Athletics. The position was won by Jorge Sales-Halbergsen by narrowly beating Sigma Pi's neophyte candidate. This position is of particular importance because it allows PIKE to design the format of Greek Week 2008.
The new PIKE delegate is Johnny Palenko III. He succeeds Allen Hollingsworth in representing the interests of Pi Kappa Alpha within the Sac State Greek System.

Theta Tau Chapter's President & Vision Print E-mail

"My Vision: I have always been a goal-oriented person. However, I feel that in order to have a goal, a well thought out plan must be laid out. Here is my 6 Point Outline for the fraternity:
1.Re-establish normalcy between the fraternity and the university.
2.Clean house through a standing Judicial Board Committee.
3.Re-evaluate RUSH procedures, and pledge education program.
4.Turn PIKE into an athletic powerhouse.
5.Increase participation and cooperation with the IFC.
6.Allocation of Manpower.
I hope not only to accomplish these goals, but also inspire everyone else around me to aspire for something greater than what we are."
